Ripple's CEO doesn't believe in his own product, says Blockstream CEO Adam Back. According to him, Brad Garlinghouse sells tokens of his coin in order to accumulate another.
“He is likely a supporter of the larger coin and may even be buying it with the proceeds from selling his coin to retail investors,” Back wrote on his Twitter account.
Ripple was also criticized by The Block analyst Larry Cermak. He called Garlinghouse's words that the company cannot control the price of his coin a lie.
“Almost everything Brad Garlinghouse says about Ripple’s lack of influence on the price of his token is a lie. He refers to CoinMarketCap data, which is ridiculous since he knows at least 90% of it is fake. But the investors of his coin will still swallow it, ”Cermak said.
On December 23, his coin's Ripple token was criticized by former developer Peter Todd. He stated that the altcoin does not give holders any real rights, and its only purpose is to enrich the issuing company.
